Gunbot Useful Tools to Aid in Your Day to Day Use

Here is a selection of “Gunbot Useful Tools” to Help You make it easier through Gunbot

NetTime – This is the program to keep your system time accurate

NetTime is a Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client for Windows. It will generally sync your system time to within 100 milliseconds of the correct time – often within 10 milliseconds.

For Linux Users, Follow the instructions on this page:

How to Sync Your Linux Server Time with Network Time Servers (NTP)

After You download and Install NetTime in Your System, Go to TimeIs to double-check for Accuracy.

Time. is displays exact, official atomic clock time for any time zone

Ignore Trades Before or ITB

This is a restriction to force Gunbot not to take into account any trades before the set timetable. The value needs to be added in milliseconds.

To convert our regular time to milliseconds, go to Current Millis

Alternatively, if You need to convert Milliseconds to Date, do so here:

The future of Gunbot is GUI only, but for now, we still have to edit the JSON file from time to time. To do so, we can use Notepad++ as a reliable source code editor.

Download Notepad Plus Plus

Have you ever edited Your JSON file and started the bot just to see a “syntax error” message?

Well, that’s because there is a character or string incorrectly placed in a command or instruction that causes a failure in execution.

In that case, You can use JSONLint, The JSON Validator.

Note: You can never be too careful, so make sure you DO NOT paste your API Keys/Telegram Token/Chat ID or any personal information there to be safe.

If you still have any concerns about copy/pasting your config files at JSONLint about privacy and possible stolen information, Gunthar just published the same website at GitHub with opensource so that we can stay safe about the code behind it.

Add this New Tool to Your collection of  Gunbot Useful Tools,  A pure JavaScript version of JSON Lint.

AutoConfig is another useful tool to make config changes for Gunbot automatically.

In Autoconfig, Schedules are set per job in a format similar to how Cron jobs are set, as you can see here in Cron-style Scheduling.

If you’re not used to the format, You can use a website like Crontab Generator to Help you generate it.
