Why did you choose Gunbot as your bot for trading crypto?
VI_DELGADOM: Security, since the keys are on-prem and I can run multiple instances with multiple exchanges.
cryptoman2606: I’m using GB for several years (I’m grandfather). Love the Gunthar support and the community around it. This tool is awesome.
A_TARANTINO75_1: Gunbot has many strategies and a very big community to get help.
What’s the best feature for you of Gunbot bot?.
VI_DELGADOM: DCA is absolutely making the difference, giving me the freedom to establish how aggressive I want to be in each trade and the fact that you can configure your own strategies.
cryptoman2606: Gunthar’s Support and proximity. This guy is the best one. He helps me and avoids for been Reckted when I make a newbie mistake on Binance and also teaches us how to use the strategies that I using right now.
A_TARANTINO75_1: The GUI is very friendly and shows all the necessary information and the gunbot has an autoconfig to set an autopilot trading style.
What strategy did you use?
VI_DELGADOM: I used SpotGrid Advanced (SGA) with the automated autoconfig in order to find the best pairs and parameters according to the market conditions.
cryptoman2606: SGA that Gunthar gives us in the lab’s room.
A_TARANTINO75_1: In the tournament, I did use acSga.
What wallet size you started in the tournament ?.
VI_DELGADOM: the balance was the best part, with only 5,000 USD, I was able to generate good profits and generate really good volume with many transactions in a short period of time.
cryptoman2606: My starter balance on Huobi was 9033 USDT + 0.06081 BTC.
A_TARANTINO75_1: my wallet was 680$.
What’s the feature you would like to be added to Gunbot?
VI_DELGADOM: Absolutely, I want to have the “Custom Strategy” available in more versions of the bot, nor just the Ultimate; anyway, there is a lot of strategies and parameters to play with, and for sure, I will keep learning.
cryptoman2606: Hoping to use Bitrage interexchange soon (with the same teaching that Gunthar give us to use SGA and 1 scalper). More specific information about their development status could be nice.
I wish for the same kind of special strategy to handle bags… Maybe some feature to trading the quote base (looking for increasing the quantity of quote meanwhile the bot wait to archive the target).
Another thing that could be great is to give the users the freedom to use more than 1 API key for exchange. In my case, I have 11 slots, but I need to use more than 1 API on binance (for instance), trying to experiment with different strategies, budgets, and risk management.
A_TARANTINO75_1: in the trading terminal, i can’t set how I want to spend.
What’s the most urgent need that needs to be Fixed or revamped?
VI_DELGADOM: One of the things that I think could be value-added is more love in the logs, especially when you are expecting the bot to do something like ‘buy’ but the message shows “not buy because insufficient balance, or bullish protection, or watch enabled” could be better to have exactly what happened and not just guess.
cryptoman2606: I think that the actualization of the wiki is urgent. Most of the information about Bitrage is not available there. At the same time, I’m a Spanish speaker, have this information on this language could be great. I’m not a tech guy, sometimes I feel lost with the big quantity of configs and options that the tool has. My reseller does not have the technical knowledge to solve my questions and at the same time, the answers are mostly delayed. Maybe, if the GB school were open to all users, most of those questions could be solved there.
The Bitrage group is not useful for me at all. The user there is only joking and talking about boobs. Besides, the information there is extremely random, and difficult the understanding how to use and configure the tool in the right way.
A_TARANTINO75_1: Nothing, it’s perfect.
Are you using any special add-on?
VI_DELGADOM: Not at this time, but definitely the next lesson will be with the backtesting feature.
cryptoman2606: I bought the Criptosight addon but I suppose that it’s already incorporated in the native tool.
A_TARANTINO75_1: no.
What makes you decide to use an add-on for your Gunbot?
VI_DELGADOM: Basically, once that I am having a deeper understanding of the Gunbot power, I want to test any change in my strategies in a self-environment.
crypotoman2606: I really don’t know which other plugins are available.
